Educators of the Term
Each term we celebrate the educators who go above and beyond, nominated by the schools they work in.
Educator of the Term
Spring 2025/26
🏆 Winner
Keiarah · SEND TA
Nominated by A partner primary school
“Keiarah has worked flexibly across several roles and has shown endless patience and nurture towards her key children even when their behaviour has been challenging. She has coped with many changes to support plans and advocates for the children she works with when she can see something is not working for them. She has gone beyond her role with specific children and has been a safe and trusted adult for others in the class who have quickly felt comfortable to share big feelings and challenges in their home lives. She has responded to these disclosures sensitively while also ensuring concerns are shared with appropriate members of staff for follow up. She has been an amazing addition to our team!”

Ciar Cover Teacher
“Ciar has leapt at the opportunity for morning intervention lessons with a Yr 13 class, going through Maths A-level and providing them with additional support and feedback. He has taken on additional timetabled Year 11 intervention sessions to support pupils who are pushing for grade 4s, and is creating and making resources to further guide and support them. He has always been happy and enthusiastic to support those who some may deem more difficult, and never gives up with his positive attitude and energy! Some may say it's infectious!”
Julija Librarian
“Julija is a highly self-motivated individual who consistently goes above and beyond in her role, requiring little direction whilst always delivering to an exceptional standard. She is an excellent communicator who has built strong, productive relationships with Senior Leadership, departments across the school, and students at all levels. Most impressively, she has completely transformed the library at our campus, creating a warm, inspiring and purposeful space through her thoughtful attention to displays, the environment, and the wider atmosphere. She has also led a rich programme of activities and events that have genuinely brought the library to life and fostered a love of reading and learning within our school community.”
Isuri SEND TA
“Is a quiet but very confident staff member who has a big impact in her class and works very well as a team. She has a very good understanding of how our learners work, and how to get the best out of them. She also has a positive attitude which rubs off on those around her.”
Keeley Cover Supervisor
“Our nomination is Keeley. Top-notch professionalism and commitment to students' development and education. She showed up with class, and she is setting an excellent standard.”
Jordan Secondary LSA
“He is positive and enthusiastic and has built strong relationships with our SEND students, particularly working with a student with complex needs who has been doing really well at school recently! Parent feedback for Jordan has also been positive.”
Viktoria Secondary TA
“She has supported lessons effectively and has proven to be an invaluable presence in the classroom. Viktoria consistently circulates effectively among pupils, offering thoughtful guidance without doing the work for them. She encourages independence by asking well-judged questions and providing gentle prompts.”
Educator of the Term
Autumn 2025/26
🏆 Winner
Unice · Progress and Achievement Leader
Nominated by A partner secondary school
“Since joining our school Unice has had 100% attendance and excellent punctuality. In a very short time Unice has established herself as a colleague who is dependable, reliable and flexible in approach, beyond the expectations that we had (and they were high). Students and staff alike have formed relationships of trust and recognise her consistent quality approach. Unice communicates well in her written and verbal communication and has become an absolute asset to our 6th form team here in school. We are very fortunate to have had Unice recommended to us. Unice was a student here and it feels absolutely meant to be that she has found us again!”

Paresh SEND TA
“He is always willing to help and never says no. Always looking for solutions and goes out of his way to support others. I would add to this his keenness to make sure our bikes are in working order as well!”
Michelle Primary SEND TA
“Michelle has supported three children with ASD in our Reception & Yr 1 class whilst working with us, & all of these children have made incredible progress in all areas. Michelle's work has ensured that the start of their school journey has been wonderfully positive, & her interventions have been tailored to their individual needs whilst pushing them to achieve their goals, ultimately making them less dependent on her help. She is conscientious, reliable and takes initiative, all key attributes for a successful and impactful TA. Michelle has cared for & supported all the children and adults around her, and we feel this award would be well suited to such an amazing candidate!”
Chifum Secondary TA
“Chifum is the guy. Relates well with staff, connects well with students, and he's of great help to SEND students in and outside of the classroom. We genuinely appreciate his dedication and hard work.”
Sowmya TA & Library Assistant
“Sowmya provides outstanding support continuously, & on two recent specific occasions that stand out. Her good humour and encouragement spurred the students on when they were struggling. Sowmya's support went above & beyond what was expected. She is making a difference to students' lives & supporting colleagues to do the same.”

“Petar is a star, he made a great start and impact not even a week in. He really is such an asset to our school.”
