- About The Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
You will be working in your subject department, supporting KS3/ KS4/ KS5 students only around the specific subject. You will be working with students in your degree subject area, they will be grouped by their ability. You will be made to feel a part of the very successful department by the friendly teaching staff and will be supported by the outstanding head of department. Those Graduate Teaching Assistants who are keen to develop into excellent practitioners and eventually train as a teacher in their degree area will have the opportunity to join the school’s salaried PGCE programme.

Experience of working in a secondary school is not necessary but some tutoring experience of any kind is a plus. Excellent communication skills are a must.
