One of our clients, a modern secondary school with an excellent reputation, is seeking a Science Graduate with a passion for teaching, to join them as an Unqualified Science Teacher.
Apart from an excellent working environment you will teach in, you’ll also have outstanding teachers as mentors and high-quality training on offer. They will also ease you in gently (unlike a lot of other schools where you are thrown in at the deep end).
- As their Unqualified Science Teacher, you will spend the first 1-2 weeks building your confidence by taking on a more TA based role and lead small group interventions.
- You’ll be learning from knowledgeable and experienced Science Teachers along the way, preparing you to take on your own classes which will start off as a smaller teaching timetable and build from there.
- This role is paying a direct school salary where you will be paid by the school on a monthly basis on an Unqualified Teacher salary of £22,924.
For the rest of the academic year, you will develop your teaching skillset to prepare you for teacher training the following year via the Assessment Only Route, landing you QTS by July 2024.
Located in Sutton, they have plenty of parking for those that drive along with train stations via Southern and Thameslink services, within walking distance.

- Ideally a Science Graduate with some form of child related experience
