This growing secondary school in Fulham is seeking Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team from September 2023 alongside starting their excellent teacher training programme. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant in a secondary or primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of high academic expectations and a commitment to supporting student achievement.
- Experience working with students with SEND, including implementing EHCPs and behaviour management strategies.
- Have an excellent understanding of Safeguarding, preferably with a Level 2 certificate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an aspiration to become a Fully Qualified Teacher.
- NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Help students develop their academic skills, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Ensure high academic and behavioural standards across the school at all times.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and managing behaviour effectively.
Contract Details:
This position is a full-time temporary to permanent contract, starting in September 2023. The temporary period will allow both the school and the successful candidate to assess their suitability for a long-term position. If the arrangement proves successful, the position will transition into a permanent contract.

- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am – 4pm
- Role: Teaching Assistant (with teacher training)
- Pay: £100 per day with an increase after 12 weeks. Up to £25k for a permanent contract.
