This role will suit a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with SEN Pupils who have varying needs. PECs experience would be an advantage.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant Post
This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves you working with SEN Teaching Pupils across the school. You will have the responsibility of leading children on a 1:1 and small group basis in key areas of the curriculum. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be making good use of the expertise of your Special Educational Needs Coordinator, an approachable individual who really cares about the team and takes an active interest in the development of budding teachers.

The SEN Teaching Assistant
For this post, you should be an experienced Teaching Assistant holding a level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. You should have an attitude that sees you quickly become a role model for pupils with ASD.
