One primary school in the vibrant East London borough of Hackney, near the Dalston area with London overground links, requires a Psychology Graduate to support a little girl in a Nursery class with Autism.
If you are interested in careers such as Teaching, Educational or Clinical Psychology or Speech & Language Therapy, this a perfect Psychology Graduate Support Worker role for you.
The pupil does not present behavioural difficulties- she is pre-verbal and needs a lot of support with play and language development. She can sometimes run out of the classroom but is easily guided back. This Psychology Graduate Support Worker role will also involve working with all the children in this class but with a particular focus on supporting this sweet little girl.
As their Psychology Graduate Support Worker, you will also work closely with the SENCo, Educational Psychologist and Counsellor in the school – exceptional exposure that will strengthen your understanding of SEN/Mental Health and help springboard you on to your chosen career.
Full time, term time only Psychology Graduate Support Worker role for the rest of the academic year.
8.30 – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, paying £93.80 per day dependent on experience. You need to be immediately available to be considered.
Specifically seeking a Psychology Graduate who ideally has some form of child related/SEN experience.
