Maths Teacher Position Details:

We are looking for a talented Math Teacher to join our team, starting in January or February 2024. This position is open to both long-term and permanent contracts, depending on the candidate’s preference and suitability. As a Math Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and nurturing the students’ passion for mathematics and developing their skills using the UK National Curriculum.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated math lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students’ individual needs and fosters their intellectual growth.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and educational programs.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • A deep understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
