A top performing secondary school in Lambeth that has excellent links via both the Northern and Victoria lines has opened its door to invite Graduate applications to join them as a Learning Mentor.
This Learning Mentor role will suit anyone who wishes to forge a career within:
Teaching/ SEN or Mental Health. It would also look great on future applications having gained experience in a diverse inner-city school that has a high level of learning needs.

**As their Learning Mentor, you will be supporting students who need it most including those with SEN/EAL and behavioural issues, across a range of subjects, focusing on the core ones (Maths, English and Sciences). You will also work in small groups and on 121 basis.
**The need to cover lessons when required in event of staff absences will be part of your remit as well as supporting the schools enrichment activities in the form of school trips – the more exposure the better!
***Dependent on how long you are looking to commit to the school, you will either be offered a direct school contract of £19,446 (If you want to stay on past July) or £100 per day, for the rest of the academic year (July 2023)
***Working hours – 8.15 – 3.15pm Monday to Friday (the best working hours I have seen in a secondary school for a long time!)
**Full time, long term, term time only Learning Mentor role – ASAP start – notice periods of more than 2 weeks cannot be accepted
